Evan established the firm in 2008 with a passion for helping clients get clear on their goals and putting together straightforward planning to help reduce taxes, invest smarter, and retire successfully. He has continued to advance his technical knowledge, becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Registered Retirement Consultant, and attending industry leading education programs in an aim to provide the best possible advice to clients. Evan has been the recipient of a number of awards and recognitions, including IG's President's Academy in 2021 (awarded to the top 50 IG Consultants based on new business), the Western Canada Area Leader in 2021 (awarded to the top 6 IG area leaders based on new business), and Financial Planner of the Year for Victoria, BC, in 2021 (awarded to Consultants based on a number of internal criteria). Evan and the team have earned Riddell Private Wealth Management national recognition for providing massive value to clients and for being a leader within the industry. While serving clients is Evan’s top focus, he is also a sought-after public speaker and mentor. Outside of the office, Evan can be found exploring the many trails and beaches in and around Southern Vancouver Island with his wife Sarah, and their two kids, Alicia and Clayton.
